I would just say, it a hope-giving movie, higly dramatic and unrealistic i would say. In a way it's good but all the same it's bad and as a representation of slice of life it's um...despairingly cheerful, it's a slice of life they say but it's more of a fantasy, a high school drama queen who always pulled off worst in exams and on her way to become a model passes this one exam and lands on Harward?! and note that what drove her was um getting her ex back, and like WTH he turned out to be freaking loser so why did she fall in "love" with him in the first place? Despite that the main leads did fine and the movie came with some good messages, it was funny here and there and amusingly amateur in the final scene, i mean you could predict ok so this going to happen now and this now, oh i knew that was going to happen etc. Give it a shot, rather entertaining.

Can I just say how awesome their acting is? This series is like watching a pure masterpiece at least acting-wise the plot is nothing special and kind of predictable but the acting!?!!#$@%^#^$ The acting is taken to a whole new level emotions so raw so pure so subtle I CAN'T HANDLE THIS PERFECTION IN THEIR IMPERFECT FACIAL EXPRESSIONS idk how to put it into words! Like when we are hurt by a person we love we don't just frown and make it obvious THIS ACTOR his eyes EYES they speak so loud that it's freaking tear jerking not a single change in his facial features but we can see how broken he is his micro expressions are FANTASTIC I'm so impressed that a Thai/Taiwanese drama took a 360 turn from garbage like TharnType to beautiful productions like this! Not saying all Thai BL is not good but this is a rare masterpiece universally not just in its genre I LOVE THIS this drama is not even getting half the hype TharnType got when it should be held in veneration and worshipped with admiration and love A TRUE GEM ahhhhhhhh*&&^%^$%#%&$%*&!!!! I'm crying TOT

Highly unrealistic, as much as I hate un-relatable contexts, so why am I giving this 5-stars? Let me just say this first, reality-wise I think there is no K-drama that could pass the test with a 100% and I've seen a truckload of Korean dramas that make me barf with their stupid storylines and this drama is a first for me - being unrealistic yet enthralling at the same time. Why is reality even an issue here? If you find a K-drama that tally 100% with your life just let me know, that's just one teeny flaw and next to this drama's giant perfections - it's fairly negligible. Amazing, all of it...just amazing. How hard it is to make living just enough to live as a human when you have nobody but yourself, you ask ? This drama is about just how hard it is. It actually freaking inspired me to crawl outta my lazy hole and even stop this meaningless chain streaming of K-dramas and live a life of my own. It's a cool drama - unrealistic yet awe-inspiring and certainly influencing. There's no hero - its most likely the MC is the villain.

I started watching this mainly cuz, one, Han Ye Ri was amazing in Six Flying Dragons as cheok sa gwang ( she was so COOL! though i know stuntmen played a major role here, but i always appreciate women who fight and on that drama she proved invincible and better than even the best swordsman of the nation, even though, i read the actual history, and came to know she never existed in the first place) and Yoon Shi Yoon is my favorite actor, though he is the villain here and he DIES =( =( =(. But he still proved flawless in his role and i didn't like him at all =). First few episodes were creepy to be honest, it gave too much "six flying dragon" vibes and almost like half the cast is ripped right off from that drama, so i actually thought of dropping it as it got boring- i thought it was lacking originality. But i kept watching considering the facts that it's a true story and i get to see Yoon Shi Yoon, and i am truly TRULY glad that i did, because, many reasons, Ja In and Yi Kang s' chemistry is just so good and i can't help smiling whenever they are together, also our bad guy Yi Hyun is SO BAD that i kept praying to the writers ( yeah like after almost two years the drama was released), please don't kill him, and they went ahead and did that very thing (it was gruesome!!! SUICIDE???!!! =( =(=( But i have always seen him as a good, great person and always the hero so this was refreshing but....(i don't think i wanna see it again) it definitely proves that he is an actual versatile actor. In short, i loved this drama. It made me realize that reality was always not as perfect, i mean how many dramas have we seen evil conquering the good? Either we see a happily ever after or something near to happily ever after . i'm giving it 9/10. Please do watch it, it was sad, i cried a lot when Yi Hyun died and also when Korean men fell one after the other ( i thought it was stupid though at some point, why attack without no strategy whatsoever when you KNOW you can't win against the Japanese with all their weapons? why go on a suicide mission? i don't call that bravery but i guess that is what actually happened in the history, Japanese massacring hundreds of thousands of koreans =( Still, recommend it.

I really didn't like it and NOT worth my time. All those ridiculously exaggerated and over the top unrealistic scenes were supposed to be FUNNY? it was exhausting and really REALLY tiring and just going thru those first two episodes were like so annoying and at the end i felt really unsatisfied. JCW and KYJ are two of the best actors i've ever seen and also as this drama is directed by the very person who directed Fiery Priest so i was actually jumping with excitement at the thought of how good this drama would be. but after i watched the first two episodes my mind changed 360 degrees. The fighting scenes; were irritating and unrealistic and not enjoyable at all, felt more like a cartoon where people go flying in every direction for impossible reasons. The supposedly comical scenes; were the kind of jokes which are both ridiculous and cheap, which only once or twice eked out a smile from me. Nothing's interesting, nothing's a mystery, no lovable human scenes (well JCW is portrayed as a really kind and kinda pushover kind of guy, i liked that about his character in this drama, but then he goes out to be mean to his rookie part timer =( Romantic scenes; wait this drama is rom-com right? comedy for me in this drama is out of the question, romantic....hmmm....well already a kiss happened and it was neither meaningful and nor was i happy to see it. when where how and for what reason did she fall in love with him?! and if there is any chemistry between them even those scenes were overawed by all the editing. Very disappointed and much regrets cuz i recommended this drama to a quite a lot of people as soon as i saw the trailer. Hope this drama turns a whopping 180 degrees and actually becomes simple and fun to watch and PLEASE mind all that editing they are too over the board and exhausting. I may edit this review if it turns out to be better in the coming episodes, but for now i literally hate it

This drama, is the first romantic drama which made into my top 5 k dramas ( replacing Sky Castle). I'm usually into ongoing dramas so naturally both IOTNBO and Backstreet Rookie were on my watch list because, um, i really don't think i needta be that obvious, so first out was BR, watched it, was SO dissatisfied and disappointed with JCW and KYJ and felt my last hope was this drama ( at least until Train was released), and I was flabbergasted at the brilliancy of It's Okay Not To Be Okay, everything EVERYTHING about this drama is so nice, so calming and so satisfying. At first though I appreciated the not-so-typical female lead with her strong character ( and brilliant acting) I thought she was too insolent and it takes a little effort to like her. But in the next episodes both Mun Yeong and Kang Tae they seem to be in the same boat and in need of someone who understands them and appreciates them for who they are. Can anyone help being autistic? Just like that Mun Yeong can't help being bitchy cause ig she has ASPD. But the fantastic thing here is, usually what therapists do is talk in sweet tones and gives the patient a vision of the world glazed with a beauty of roses with thorns, they hide the reality in way of consoling them, it's effective in calming them down but in a way also makes them more weaker and dependent. Ko Mun Yeong is never a person for sweet talk, what she does is, give them a good sharp shock of reality and deal with them once for all, she doesn't treat them with any specialty and as bitchy to them as she is to other normal people. It's original and fun to watch, a love triangle is there, typical in a romantic drama, but for a change the female lead has a very strong influence in the drama, she is like the steering wheel of IONTBO I'm not saying Kim Soo Hyun is a stick in the mud, take a drama like Heirs for an instance? and exchange the roles of LMH and PSH? something like that =) Ddabong! Daebak!! Jinja meosisseoyo!!! MUST WATCH =) =) =)

Okayyy, i'm writing this review based on all the trailers and the movie clips i've seen so far and for me they looked fine, though i don't know how good the movie will turn out to be without Mushu ( or bad) and it seems to be diverting a great lot from the original cartoon, i have a feeling it's gonna turn out to be good and being creative to make plot twists there wasn't before is not exactly a bad thing, it depends entirely on how they actually managed to make the movie retaining it's interesting, thrilling and live action moments of captivation. What bothers me is that why all this one-star reviews and bashing at the story-line when all you have watched is a few clips and trailers which only reflects a 5% or less of the entire movie? The action scenes of Liu Yi Fei seemed very action-ey to me, i loved her movements and the fact that she did most of the fighting scenes herself ( usually stunt-women play the major role instead) which shows the effort and dedication she put, she really is a power woman! For no all i can say is i'm looking forward to the release of this movie ^_^

Three stars are just for their chemistry, Shi Yoon and Ji Ah, their chemistry is just too good to be missed out, that is the sole reason i held on at least until the 11th episode. The story is pretty good so i gave it half a star, the rest of the remaining star goes for not having the most amazing and impossible coincidences, i hate that about most of the romantic Korean dramas. Me too, flower typically involves a love triangle and a jealous ajumma who devise evil schemes to drift the true love apart, well ig that is to be expected but no, it's not a romance depending upon coincidences, destiny or whatever, they both have wounded childhoods and find healing in their love for each other. Some scenes were overly dramatic though, i SO want to deduct another star for that ( but then i have to write this again) and the fake punches! This is the first k drama I've seen with such badly choreographed fighting scenes. If there were 10 stars, i would still give it just 4. Watch it if you have some time to kill and enjoy their fantastic chemistry =)

it was a typical superhero story where the main character is obviously invincible. i usually don't watch such movies cuz at the end of the day we knew from the beginning that the main lead will always be victorious. but this is a story of a heroine and apart from wonder woman and black widow i know no other stories where a female is the focus of the entirety of the movie. i loved the movie because hugo dies and it's not all's well that ends well. i'm not saying i'm happy he is dead but the fact that he died proves alita is not capable of anything and everything. i'd give it for stars cuz i enjoyed the movie, all the action and racing, it was thrilling and a really good production. y'all should watch it!
