This is the book that should be on Oprah's book of the month. This the book Katie Couric - Jimmy Kimmel - and so many talking heads should have a look at - read all my review - this book is not about communism but about the extreme right by an author of many books critical of communism. Synopsis: A brilliant Sociologist and best selling author known for his rational discussion about why Communism could not and did not work in America begins getting visits and fan mail from emerging right wing groups. He becomes alarmed and begins a lengthy investigation into what he finally surmises is a situation as dire and as disruptive to American Democracy as communism. In 1964 he is writing about what began in 1980 or as early as 1968 and has now bore fruitful dissonance and destruction in our nation's capital. He could not for see Fox news but he clearly explains the tactics we have all witnessed the last 40 years and discusses just how dangerous it will be if or when these disparate groups coalesce and find a national voice. Well, I think we all know the have... even in some academic circles creating the "newspeak" of "media bias". Edwin R Murrow called this book critically important to understanding this festering threat and the need to keep it marginalized. For those who still think they are the smart ones because they think they are getting the real news and the rest of us are sheeples. You might be surprised to find out you are FOX and MAGA sheeples after reading this book start to finish. But them... may YOU Can't handle the truth.
