Ah-MAZING. I don’t even know what to say about this show except I’m mad that I didn’t watch sooner but simultaneously happy I came here so late as I had a GREAT time bingeing it. The CHARACTERS!!! The PLOT. LOVE all of them but Nyneave and Lan and Moiraine and sometimes Rand are my FAVORITES. At points, it has certain elements that remind me of lotr, which I adore wholeheartedly. And Moiraine makes me think of Annalise Keating from How To Get Away With Murder. I know these are massive jumps in genres but bare with me. They are both strong, if not the strongest, at whatever it is that they do. Like Annalise, her greatest strength was being the best lawyer. In this Moiraine is the best AES SEDAI. They both take care of a bunch of untrusting twenty something’s at the cost of themselves, despite this sometimes unwavering distrust. They’re very stubborn “brave the world by your lonesome” type of people. Bonus points for them both being lgbt too. I honestly love most of the characters even though some, at this point in the show, seem more useless than others... but that’s another story. Anywaysss please watch. I NEVER want to see this show come to an end. The first episode and half or two will be slow but it truly does get better. WAY BETTER. I want to say more but I hope this was convincing enough. I genuinely think you’ll love it.
