Drowning Sculpture

Expectations were high given the hype around this upon release. Left feeling as though it was quite a shallow view of feminine empowerment. Ryan Gosling was funny, but generally I don't think many of the jokes throughout the movie landed. This seemed strangely like more of a bid to save the image of Barbie and salvage the brand given the extensive marketing campaign that went into it in the lead up to the movies release.
