This game is freaking AMAZING! This is one of the most impressive games I have ever had the pleasure of playing through. I played through the entire game while looking into every little bit of dialogue, extra side quests, and collectibles. I never do that with any game but the story and world building in this game was second to NONE! If you have the opportunity to play through Horizon Zero Dawn relish the fact that you can play through it for the first time. I was in absolute awe at every twist and turn that the story took and every new encounter was breathe taking. There is nothing like coming across a unique pack of robotic creatures and figuring out how to dismantle them piece by piece. The crafting can get a bit tedious and hunting for materials can become a slog if you aren't a fan of those types of mechanics. These mechanics are exceptionally well done though considering other games that make you grind out everything to the nub. Just buy this game. Rent it if you have to. You won't regret it.
