I played in a ZZ Top Tribute act, Sharp Dressed Man, for 9 years. This album was a departure from their style, rater an evolution of their style Some very sophisticated timing and arrangements along with their signature guitar and vocal sounds. New, yet familiar. Some very, very good drum work. Their sense of humor is well represented musically and lyrically. I found this album just... FUN! I still listen to it in the car and enjoy both the nostalgia and the intelligent song writing that doesn't seem the least bit put on. No MTV tunes here!
