Susan Stone

This movie was an amazing account of Harriet Tubman's young adult life and on into her old age. What a force of nature she was. Determined, fearless and witty, she also had compassion when anyone else in her shoes may not have. She did not hesitate to follow her own path and lead others to freedom. The actor who portrayed her did such a wonderful job. I had no idea she was British until I saw a review on FSTV. I'd recommend this movie to high school students as well as adults for a piece of history not taught when I was in school.
