The basic story line where the friends send her off on a vacation and sell her house , her being a writer, meeting the hero on the trip, asking him for money, the hero buying her house unknowingly, the hate to love journey , is adapted by the turkish drama Ayesha Gul but the story ahead is changed in order to give it a more desi touch. The end is kind of a bummer though.
