I'm not one for big reviews but this is one of my favorite books, dense, thorough covering the complete history where the mongols ar just the end of the line. Although what PPC is doing to the steppe peoples is so close to genocide, but in the past these peoples were able to take on most anyone and come out on top. Probably why the Chinese hate them so much, they didn't build that huge wall for no reason
