It was beautifully put together and maintains the essence of the book while flushing out the treatment of women of the times. The costumes, cinematography, choreography, and music were excellent. The acting and charisma between characters were true to the books. Altogether a fun series for any who enjoys romance novels. This story was not historically correct because of the diversity of characters. However this is fiction and therefore can correct the errors of the past. I loved the interaction between characters. I loved the story and could not see any other actors in those parts. They did the author proud in embracing the character. Let’s embrace talent, not color.
