I had high hopes for “Land of Bad,” but unfortunately, the film failed to deliver on nearly every front. The plot was a disjointed mess, with characters making inexplicable decisions that seemed to serve no purpose other than to move the plot forward in the most contrived ways possible.
The performances were equally lackluster, with the cast appearing disinterested and uninspired. It’s a shame because this ensemble has some real talent, but they were given so little to work with that it felt like a waste of their abilities.
The dialogue was clunky and often cringe-worthy, lacking any wit or emotional depth that could have salvaged the script. The pacing was another major issue, dragging in some parts and rushing through others, leaving the audience confused and disengaged.
Even the visual effects, often a saving grace in such films, were subpar. They looked dated and unconvincing, detracting from the overall experience rather than enhancing it.
Overall, “Land of Bad” lives up to its name in the worst possible way. It’s a disappointing, poorly executed film that fails to entertain or engage. Save your time and money by skipping this one.
