It was very predictable and I find it hard to believe that Laurel who has had a strained relationship with Hanna for so long, was able to mend all that with a voicemail and suddenly they were fine? I also think the epilogue was a bit pointless, could we not have just heard Ellie’s POV more throughout the book? I’ve read the idea for the alternate ending and it doesn’t seem much better. I love Lisa Jewel but this was disappointing.
