The visuals were spectacular, but the story was garbage. If you were expecting a brave and strong Jake Sully in this sequel, you will be sorely disappointed. Jake is either disciplining his kids, or cleaning up their messes throughout the film. There were so many issues with this movie, but the biggest issue that I had with this movie is that Jake and his family left the Na'vi people. Thinking that if he left his people, the bad guys would just miraculously give up the search for him. Jake then proceeds to immediately join another tribe on the ocean. What?? Wasn't the point of him leaving his people to keep them safe?? Now, he's endangering a completely different tribe?? Well, a few days or so later, that same water tribe that Jake made into his family's shield, were attacked... Who could have seen that coming, right?? 😞 No epic wars in this movie either. Just Jake and his family rescuing each other, over, and over again.. Cameron must have spent most of the money to make this movie on CGI, and the scraps were used to write the story.. What a disappointment, and what a disgusting misuse of money.
