I used to watch it as a child in the 60's. I absolutely loved it. I was a big animal lover as a child so it really made me very emotional when his Mom talked to him through the stars. I began to see the world was not fair to animals. I remember when Lion King came out and it immediately reminded me of this show.

This is such a wonderful movie! A true story about a sweet and totally guileless elderly brother and sister. They are getting too old to stay alone at their family farm in rural Sweden, and eventually go into a nursing home. It's hard to explain the magic of this film, but there is just so much love it just transports you away from our status seeking, social media, material driven society and into a very simpler, more authentic way of life. I so need to see it again!
