The first time I saw the movie, I thought for a second that they played the original on accident...so much nostalgia (the original movie, San Diego, and more) and alll the feels. One of the best movies in my lifetime for sure! I've seen it at least 15 times and have no shame in saying it. Watch it in surround sound with the volume up!

This series depicts and uncovers an important time in American history when gay men (and in some cases still today) were treated wrongly and discriminated against which forced the community to hide and be ashamed of who they authentically were as human beings. Matt Bomer and Jonathan Bailey are brilliant in their roles and the show is well-written.

Brilliant with some great metaphorical themes.
