Hidden Gem? This show has been plugged for weeks, it's not doing well because it's not very good.
They took the original writers story and reframed it to be sexy and edgy, but what a 14 year old thinks sexy and edgy is. They took a story about a woman facing the seedy underside of the business but it got pencil f@@ked into something with the vibe of those 80s/90s "sexy movies" Basic Instinct but poorer, more like "Body of evidence". Which has already been done.
I don't understand why you spend money on an original IP, make all the same studio and self insert character predictable changes, and THEN be surprised its less good.
