The show has commendable production value. The visuals are treat to the eyes and makes you wonder that how much impact it would have had if experienced on big screen. The efforts taken for palace, war and landscape sequences are definitely felt. Although you can strongly feel that the looks are inspired from lots of movies and series of past but this was all that era was all about then what could have been done differently?I mean you can not dress them all in morden outfits !!!! For a star cast, we must appreciate the casting crew. Some surprisingly welcoming fresh casting has been done.Shabana Aazami as one of the most experienced of them all does a commendable job as expected.Drushti Dhami and Rohul Dev are truely captivating with there screen presence..But the most amazing and truely surprising gem is Dino Morio. What an amazing performance. It just makes you wonder , where was he hiding his talent all these years. His powerful gaze, confident presence and intriguing dialogue delivery makes you ask more and more of his screen presence. He is just the perfect antagonist in the series and most of the times overpowering the protogonist. What a stealer performance. He has shocked us all. The most amazing performance of his entire career. Hope to see him in more projects. Totally hidden gem. Hats off to him.God bless him. As far as Kunal Kapoor is concerned, the graph is in ups and downs. I don't know it's him or the unnecessary tries of directors to push him as antagonist of the series. He is just sometimes seems confused character. The body language, the dialogue delivery and expressions are not convincing enough. He just feels tiered sometimes. As we hav learned from history that Babar was a ruthless conquerer, Kunal is just too far away from the image of Babar. I mean he is a great performer, but maybe the creative decision of potrying Babar as antagonist with humanitarian side has limited Kunal from unleashing the true madness and powerplay. That's disturbing. As I said, Dino just overpowers him. Overall a commendable effort with the large potential. Hoping for better focus in second season. All the best.

The acting skills of Sara Ali Khan are overdramatic. She is just overdoing it. She needs to calm down. About Kartik Aryan, he is not impressive at all. I mean there is nothing attractive about his presence. Dialogue delivery is monotonous. Overacting Sara and dull Kartik are just irritating. Only Randeep Hooda is pleasant relief. In fact he is much more intriguing that Kartik.
