Non spoiler review: After being disappointed in Disney's apparent lack of plan or direction to complete the Star Wars saga, I took a different approach to this movie. I went in with very low expectations and it helped immensely. This movie was somewhat of a hot mess, and I was shaking my head at various moments, but it was much better than I was expecting. Honestly, I can't decide if it was because I had such low expectations or because it was a decent movie. If you are a Star Wars fan (like me), and go in wanting to hate it, it will give you plenty of reasons to hate it. If you go in like I did, and you can look past some messy plot points and a few errors in the story (simply my opinion) you may be slightly surprised. Probably did about as well as they could with what they had to work with and what they were trying to accomplish. They probably tried to do to much with the first half of the movie, and there were moments that will make Star Wars die hard fans cringe, but considering where they are and what they had to work with after The Last Jedi, I enjoyed the ride. It's really about a 3.5 out if 5 stars in my opinion.
