Michael Keaton was PERFECT . Having said tha there were a few items that I was not impressed with. 1. Lydia’s character was a completely miss to the spunky, bold, non apologetic, witty girl we met in the original. I think more thought process could have been put in piecing an adulthood worthy of matching her character(she would have NEVER been atttracted to that show casting want to be agent(who I wish would have had a lot less screen time) because let’s face it he was so annoying. The second bone I have to pick is in regard to Burton's decision to incorporate Dolores(who fun fact is his current partner) she had no business being in this movie, she was unnecessary and underdeveloped as a story plot. It felt as if he just wrote her in for the sake of a paycheck. On that note. (SPOILER ALERT)………..The real villain was the young boy whose story plot was well embedded and who I was so disappointed was just a piece of the plot twist and not carried throughout. I honestly would have prefer to see more of his story with Ortega develop. Now. I hope we get a Beetlejuice origins movie because I was also left wanting to know more about his Human chapter on earth (minus Dolores).
