I really like good Japanese movies and I'm always pleased when I view a good one, this however exceeded any expectations I may have had. The writing, acting, editing and directing were equally well done. Wow, so good I might watch it again to see what I may have missed in the first viewing. If you have approximately 1.5 hours and want to get engulfed into someone else's world, Yuma (characters name) will pull you in. Grab a snack and enjoy. This movie is worth your monthly Netflix subscription.

I saw this movie in around 15 years ago, I had to leave $100 deposit to rent the Japanese dvd from Scarecrow video in Seattle and it was worth it. I got my deposit back once the dvd was returned, but this movie will make you pause and evaluate how you are living your life. It is on my top 5 anime films of all time, once you see it, you can see it is impossible to un-see it, hat can't be said about most movies as many are forgettable.
