The thing about a legacy, a legend is that no one really understands the story. You see...Wu- Tang has never been about individuals.
In fact this story illustrates that there may have only been two individuals that were "true to self." Meth and ODB may have understood themselves, reached a higher plane of self actualization prior to the personas we understand to create the WU.
What I am attempting to state is that this show is attempting to articulate a legend. If you watch the documentary you understand that the hardest members of the crew, are true.
There is a scene in the first episode of the Documentary where Rae and Starks hug. They tear up...So it begs the question, "why does the tv show place so much animosity between them?" Is the relationship a symbol?
Not everyone is an artist. However, it does not mean that not anyone can share a portrait of artistry.
If you do not like this show or are criticizing the acting maybe you should go back and listen to the 36 Chamber, Iron man, "The Purple Tape", Liquid Swords and a personal favorite the the Wild.
Top 5 rappers of all time, no doubt, come from the Wu Tang Clan.
