Absolutely outstanding in every respect. Extremely well directed with meticulous attention to period (mid to late 70's) detail, Mindhunter is a tour de force in the field of criminal psychology. I love the combination of the academic relative rookie who wants to get inside the minds and motivations of serial killers juxtaposed with the world weary hard bitten veteran FBI agent. Neither character is in any way cliched and they work together superbly. Mindhunters also pays exceptional attention to character development and the story lines are always gripping, particularly when the team get involved in various grizzly murder investigations. The acting is also uniformly superb though for me the standout is Cameron Brittons' portrayal of the serial killer Edmund - a very different character but his acting is every bit as good as Anthony Hopkins as Dr. Lecter. Having binge watched series 1 and 2 I really hope that Netflix decides to continue with this. It's by far the best criminal psychology series that I've ever watched.

There's fun to be had here, principally playing co-op with a heavily moded game, but by default there are simply too many bugs, too many incomprehensible design decisions and too many half-designed features to really recommend this for single player. As per the usual with PGI, this is yet another minimum viable product from a third rate dev team.
