Like Jodi Picoult, I was an English major in the 1980s. And while I had been exposed to Shakespeare in high school, I fell in love with his plays in college. My Masters thesis centered on Measure for Measure. I LOVED this book!!! The research, the author’s note at the end, the intertwined stories of Emilia and Melina. I found myself wanting to talk with my college professor about all of it! Very convincing arguments that he wasn’t who we’ve been taught for all of these years!!
