I love what they did with the show visually; it’s really beautiful to watch. While I generally don’t complain about shows being poorly adapted from books to accommodate what can or can’t be done onscreen, this one had creative liberties taken that don’t seem to serve any real purpose. In fact, many detract from the story. Even so, it’s entertaining enough to continue watching.
