This show is magnificent! Full of mystery, turns, twists and unlikely outcomes. Wonderfully written and expertly directed. The only thing was the voiceovers I would prefer the original voices of the actors (more authentic)- with subtitles than the voiceovers because I find it a bit distracting. Nonetheless, a great show.

I feel like the message behind Black Lightning is very relevant with regards to the current climate in today’s society. I did not however feel as though the show had a continuum. It was all over the place; the scenes, the stories of the individual characters (I.e Anissa starting out as a teacher at the school then becoming a med student and doctor all while being thunder and blackbird)-Just no continuity or flow. I think they need better writers because the message is very strong they just need better delivery. New writers and maybe a new director as well.

Loved the series! I wish there was a season 4 in the works bc I don’t feel as though the rest of the story was told.

When I saw the trailer for this series I knew I would enjoy watching it! What I didn't understand was that Catherine was from Germany but lacked a German accent and Leo her lover was from Russia but no Russian accent.
