Currently starting episode 6, and I came to leave a review.

EDIT-UPDATE:
This was a monumental piece at exposing the lies, the edits, and the complete wrongful depiction of Manitowoc County Sheriff’s Department in Making a Murderer. Kratz, Detective Fassbender, and Lieutenant Colborn made appearance and each noted and apologized for mistakes made without the investigation or individual statements he made. I think that is so important.
We even see a truther come around at the end and believe Avery and Dassey are guilty. I wasn’t expecting that, to be honest.
I have no complaints. Yes, the production could use some work, but, overall, I was impressed with the amount of people they were able to get on camera and speak publicly and how thorough the series is on almost every fact (and lie) regarding this case.
Thank you Daily Wire Studios for providing factual truth!!

For anyone who 1.) doesn’t like Candace or 2.) doesn’t believe she can investigate, she does not actively do the investigating/ digging (it’s not depicted in the series), and she most definitely doesn’t have the most screen time. She makes commentary throughout, visits the salvage yard, and that’s all I’ve seen so far.
Making a Murderer left me with SO many questions, and I finally feel like I’m getting answers. I watched Making a Murderer with an open mind, and I’m doing the same with Convicting a Murderer. When I have finished Convicting a Murderer, I will come back and edit my review in case I need to update my opinion.
So far, the series is very in depth on facts the Netflix series just cut out. It really irritates me that documentarians would leave out facts/ statements/ pieces of phone calls… not a good look, and it certainly forces me to question every single documentary I watched and loved.
Give Convicting a Murderer a watch (with an open mind) and you might ask yourself why the women who produced the documentary left out/ cut out certain pieces of this case to form a victim narrative?
