I bought pokemon violet since it came out, I have not played a pokemon game since pokemon emerald came out...honestly the story is not at all exciting like what emerald was to me. The tera crystallized mechanic system gets dull real fast...the only thing I liked was that you can pretty much get any pokemon you couldn't get in previous games especially if youve kept up with the events pokemon do every year with mystery gifts etc...I was expecting a thrill for my buck...but I was let down...I believe gamefreak and whoever is in charge of the pokemon games production aren't at all motivated to keep the gaming community as hyped as it once was 10+ years ago..I did not see anything that would make me be optimistic about the game's future...I don't see the games going in the right direction anymore...even tho I do look forward to see if what they have coming up next will make me think more positively about it...who knows really...it's sinking fast besides new tera raids to catch pokemon you never could in past gens, there's really no reason to be online at all whatsoever...like they could bring in better options of wardrobe but instead they choose not to...the reviews speak for itself...if you're the gamer who missed those days where you could have a heated battle with a gym leader who was worthy of respect..or a gamer who cleaned house from the evil organization who had a real evil scheme towards pokemon itself this game is not it.
