I like the general characters but not the idea of how they are trying to change anzu completely. Why can't she have a hobby and play games? Why can't she eat chocolate?! And taking away her actual childhood friend, her cat?! A good partner is someone willing to accept you for your hobbies and interests, you shouldn't have to change how you dress just for someone else or because society deems it so. Also, there was absolutely no reason to cut off chocolate, food does t distract from a relationship like this anime says. But I like the actual characters and their development as friends instead of romantic relationships, because forcing relationships is not ok, which is the best and main point of our great anti-heroines story. Also the point of maintaining friendships is important, and you should make time for friends,maybe even include them in your hobbies!

The MC gets gaslit in the first episode and forced to do a bunch of labor for a whole month just to get attacked by her. Then the witch said she was happy she endured the pain?! No just no.
