How much did the positive reviews pay out? That's the only way anyone can have ANYTHING positive to say. This year's game is absolutely horrendous. When did 2K become a game people launched to check the status of their clothing line or see if their mixtape went viral? An RPG-esque element is cool, but this is WAY too complex for a game that was once about playing basketball. If you still decide to give it a try, good luck. You'll need it. No matter which path you choose, unless you spend money on VC, you're awful. You can't get away from, create space from, or even slightly separate from a soul. These guys clamp you harder than Mr. Krabs holds his wallet. Any wide open shot is an immediate brick if you don't release it perfectly. For your opponent, it doesn't matter what you do. I tripped him, pants-ed him, hit him in the knee with a plunger on the way down, and he still drained a 3 that would make Curry drool in his sleep. Which Curry? Ha. The entire family. If you find enjoyment in a statline of 1/19 from the arc, this game should be the Christmas present you beg for 4 copies of, just to staple one to your wall and/or forehead. Otherwise, don't even bother. Go back to Minecraft. At least creepers can't drop 40 on you while you stand in a puddle of your own drool.
