Movie Name : Sanak Platform : Disney Hotstar Director : Kanisk Verma Inspired by : John Q by James Kearns Producer : Zee Studios and Sunshine Pictures Vidyut Jammawal ( Vivaan Ahuja ) and Rukmini Maitra ( Anshika Maitra ) starrer Sanak is basically inspired by John Q. Neha Dhupia plays the character of a cop. Review: Let's talk about the story first. Anshika aka Rukmini gets admitted in hospital for a heart disease. Unfortunately the hospital had a big shot patient and criminal. In order to rescue the criminal he plans for a heist and hostage all the patient. On the other hand Vivaan is a MMA trainer who fights with all the people present there and rescue the hostages. Though the acting of Rukmini and Vidyut is good the movie has a lot of loopholes. Cop has literally no input in the whole scenario. Neha Dhupia's dialogue delivery was powerful yet void. It felt like it's just words and not action. Chandan Roy Sanyal aka the head to attacker has done a great job though. Overall if you miss watching it , you will not really miss anything. Slowpace action movie it is. Rating : 2/5

They say it rightly. Don't shout out loud ,prove the point by your work. It is exactly that movie. Vidya Balan is definitely making concious choices of social massage by her excellent movies. It is not a typical bollywood drama. It has a sense of society truth to it. Director Amit Masurkar has done excellent job in execution. Vijay Raaz has also put an impact with his good acting. Though the pace was a little slow in the middle but the fight back of holding onto the job of a DFO is what made it worth watching. Overall a good movie.
