I’m a HUGE Star Trek fan. I also have bad taste and will watch pretty much anything, and have seen pretty much everything. I tried watching this movie twice. It’s awful. Totally unwatchable. Easily one of the worst movies ever made.

Thank heaven! I watched enterprise. I endured Discovery. I suffered through Picard. I was beginning to give up hope.. then.. finally. Star Trek Strange New Worlds. Here’s a new Star Trek series in the league of TNG, DS9 and Voyager. Strange new worlds is ACTUALLY on that level. I’m in shock. The writing, acting, production, special effects, directing and even just the general direction is all top notch. It’s particularly nice in that it’s somewhat episodic yet retains a focused serialized direction far more subtly than say.. Picard.. which just forces it down your throat while it spins.. ok.. ok.. so don’t watch Picard until you check this one out.. Picard and discovery are a whole other sort of shock.. spoiler alert on those ones. Update: the musical episode in season was bad enough. The entire third season is just as bad.. every episode is dumb. Ye been warned.

Waayyyy better than I was expecting. The mom is super annoying, she’s supposed to be a doctor but she’s dumb. Her kid gets punched from behind when he was just walking.. ends up with a black eye.. She says to her kid, you always have a choice. Victim blaming much? Other than the idiot mother.. it’s a good movie. Super reminiscent of the original without being a remake. Do not watch the one with Jaden smith. Just don’t. Ever. This one is certainly worth your while tho!

This show starts off great, lags a little bit in the middle, then finishes off amazing. Like.. THE BEST SHOW OF THE YEAR kinda amazing. They take some chances throughout the middle that don’t all pay off, but the show has its own kinda unique personality and the cast is terrific. I really hope there is a second season at the minimum. Best show. I liked it even better than Ted lasso by the end.

Great movie, until you get the ending. More like complete absence of an ending. No plans for a third movie, yet there is a cliffhanger ending. Its frustrating. If Netflix had given the go ahead for a final movie I would give it a better rating.. but as it is.. I’d rather have not seen the second without a third. Whoever is running Netflix sucks at their job. That’s what I got from this relatively entertaining movie with no ending. Apparently helicopter blades can saw against the side of a concrete building with no negative effects on the helicopter as well. And here I thought helicopters were more fragile than concrete buildings.. but what do I know..

Not good… but not as bad as most reviews say.

Boring. Super boring. Among the worst of marvels tv series. Do yourself a favour and just go back to watch the Netflix daredevil series again. Don’t bother with this show. Nothing ever happens. I’m on episode 8 and nothing ever happens. It’s about as exciting as a daytime soap opera.

It starts out as a good movie, you look forward to seeing what happens for the first 20 minutes or so. Then, at about 45 minutes in, you realize that this movie may not be all that great after all.. once you get to about 85 minutes in you’ll start to drift off and go write reviews while it continues to play in the background.. It’s a steady decline from start to finish, endlessly disappointing with an immense amount of potential to keep you hopeful with. It’s actually kind of impressive, in a practical joke sorta way.. Oooo.. it’s getting good!.. wait. No, no it’s not.. Oh, here we go, it’s getting good.. … no.. no… nope, it’s still bad. Wait, it’s getting good.. No, no.. … it’s just bad.. wait.. no.

This is a good movie. Don’t listen to the haters. Highly enjoyable!

This movie has earned so many great reviews from both audiences and critics for very good reason, this I a spectacular movie. Just watch it
