An out of touch attempt at relatable high school characters. The one thing I was expecting from Olivia Wilde (as a total bada** herself) was strong and modern female characters but they were over-contrived and so commercial it was almost insulting. They were the same tired archetypes young females have been force fed for years just in a more “progressive” light. Not a poorly directed or underfunded movie, just disappointing if you’re expecting something fresh and cool. I have no idea who made all those positive reviews but they owe me $18. Don’t waste your time or money.
