Here me out. No person in this world, I repeat NO person in this world will ever regret watching this drama. You're depressed? THIS is gonna become the reason for your happiness. I am not exaggerating when I say this drama made me look at life through a way more positive aspect. It even changed my life, and trust me I'm not kidding here. Yk lets talk about it one by one. Friendship: THIS is exactly the aspect that sets this drama apart from other ones. It will LITERALLY make you want to enjoy your youth and your high school life more. The friendship moments were so wholesome and comforting, I actually cried. Guan fang's grandmother's scenes, the amusement park, doomsday, the sunset at baichun, the military training, when they search for the fund in the trash, omg its so wholesome. I mean yk what its difficult for me to even explain it in words (am i getting too emotional? who cares.) Romance: I love the main couple and the lead couple equally hard. The romance. chemistry, everything between them is SO pure, so heartwarming,so wholesome, omg I fell in love. Honestly speaking, I actually like gu ran and jiang jia's moments even better than su zaizai and zhang lurang. I mean, it was just so much more realistic, imo. Them bickering all the time, gu ran slowly starting to like her, him smiling at her, secretly caring for her, like they never showed it or said until the confession but they liked each other so bad omg it was so funny and heartwarming haha. I wish they had a but more screen time tbh, like a whole episode in the ending dedicated to them, but its ok even what was shown was still kinda enough. I cried during both the confessions, and at the ending episode ofc. I can't explain how much i loved both the couples. Also I liked what they showed about lurang's parents, it was realistic. Also there's no useless drama just for the sake of dragging the plot, It is my comfort drama at this point. Just, just WATCH IT. You will never ever everrr regret watching it :)
