Thought the acting and script were excellent, keeping me on the edge of my seat for the entire movie. I really enjoyed the way it was written where the mummy could get into the minds of people, being able to such the life out of others and the only way she had been confined and controlled was by pumping mercury thru its veins! The ending let's you believe there has to be a sequel to remove the mummy's curse. Very disappointed there wasn't one... An enjoyable and exciting movie!

Anthony Hopkins in anything is worth watching...

Excellent cast, with a top performance by Burt Lancaster. Cast even has a very young Robert Duvall in it! One of my favorite older westerns, after Shane and The Searchers. Certainty the same quality script and acting!

Because of the deveoping storyline and many different characters, this 3 hour movie time goes by very quickly... Especially for someone, like myself, who loves both the history or our Western culture and watching a good western movie! Clearly not for someone wanting to just be entertained with a few top actors and a fast moving plot. But there is enough quality acting and action with a central theme to the movie to keep one interested and also parts that I found to be extremely emotional, thru the many different developing storylines throughout the film. Also, the cinematography is exceptional thru the director's eye, in capturing both the beauty and the unblemished part of our West. For myself, I can't wait to see the second installment of this western saga!

Just a thoroughly exciting and enjoyable movie, with a few fun surprises!

A real "what if" movie, as to what would happen if the nukes were fired and life as we now know it and rely on- collapsed! Survival takes on an entire new meaning, as a man tries negotiating his son thru an entirely reshaped world. This new society has broken down to its most primitive form, as they travel "The Road", South trying to make it to the Southern Coast.
