"Save herself to save herself." She plans to undertake an investigation that has no gray areas/ people. Instead, She aspires to only have black and white/bad and good, in her new investigation. But, little would she know she would become the "gray person" herself.
Holly Jackosns's work is remarkable. The first book, astounding. The second book was exceptional and reached my expectations. However, the third book was the best book that I've read thus far; it was marvelous and breathtaking through and through. She connects all the events from book 1 and book 2 into "Good Girl, Bad Blood," (thus interconnectedness is a massive theme). So I must say, if you haven't read book 1 or book 2, I highly recommend doing that first so you obtain the entire experience. Furthermore, when you anticipate the book is over, you only then realize that you have several pages to go (I was so pissed when that happened, I thought I was almost at the end, LOL). To me, this book was faster-paced than the rest, mostly because there was a multitude of situations occurring compared to the other books.
When I read books, I intend to take my time and not finish them right away. But with this one, I couldn't retain myself from reading. This was the first murder mystery book I've ever read, and now I'm obsessed!
