Don't understand why this movie got so much hate. Thought it was good

5/10. The action and effects held up to my expectations. The plot was all over the place with some unnecessary plot lines.

I'll be honest, I'm not the biggest DC fan, especially when it comes to their more recent DCEU ventures. As far as their shows, I have only watched the flash and some of supergirl. This show from the get go felt strange. They seemed to not care about being accurate to the characters. They cant decide what their demographic is having aged up half of the titans but aged the other half down (or kept them the same, not sure how old the Teen titans are supposed to be). They absolutely butchered starfire turning her into some crazed Russian spy murderer, stripper ... mess. Robin seems to not care about killing anyone. I've watched all the episodes currently available on netflix (up to 11)and the plot feels rushed, inconsistant and messy at best. They bring in Trigon at the end of episode 10 and then the next episode jumps like 5 years into the future and suddenly Batman is killing people and Robin has to go deal with it. I'm fairly sure the writers are trying to set up that Trigon has messed with Robins head or something, but it was such a sudden and jarring leap that as an audience you just feel lost.
