I’m going to be honest here, this movie was quite disappointing. I adore much of Jordan Peel’s work, Us and Get Out are some of my favorite movies that I’ve ever watched, but this was just not it for me. While there are a few funny and genuinely intense scenes, they are far too short, and overshadowed by boring scenes that add virtually nothing to the plot. There’s almost no character development, to the point where I couldn’t possibly care less if any of the characters wound up living or dying. Additionally, this movie really was a slog to get through. Though there are some good parts of it, I can’t say I recommend this movie, your money and time would be better spent elsewhere.
