A riveting series of books that are translated with love to streaming. The physics of space travel and battle are well thought out and executed. Character development is loved rather than avoided. There is no SciFi equivalent currently anywhere right now.

The story could've been executed with less expository and more substance. Still with all that, they had great potential to bring something fresh to the home screen except they petered at the halfway point and truly crashed into a wall in the last two episodes. By the end of the 10th episode it felt like they ran out of money and failed to execute to story all the way to the end with a well thought out cliffhanger to bring you back for the next season. The end felt hollow and contrived without the possibility of something more intriguing down the road. Sad but true.

Sadly executed with bad writing and direction. Potential was there for something far better but little knowledge of true SciFi let alone doomed this into a miserable and painful journey that I will never get that lost time back from.
