Lots of gamers have posted poor reviews with justifications. Bugs glitches are the biggest complaint, but there are so many more. If you reached pro level it’s a monotonous experience. In duel mode you are subjected to repeat tracks sometimes racing the same circuit over and over again. Points awarded are odd to say the least which are important to progress. You lose more points in losing than winning and points in winning can be anywhere from 10 to 40. Then there in opponent interaction of opponents erratic play from wreaking others on purpose to driving completely off track spinning out and still winning. How an opponent can drive through opponents without crashing is beyond belief. There has been no competition mode in over six weeks. Career mode has so many issues this game is frustrating to say the least. The point many are making it has become less fun and entertaining. Improvements for this level of gaming should be the norm, but they are not. Those programming this game seem to be well over their head in game programming (code masters). It seems the code writers need to overhauled. Simple programming like adding a more lap option would help like giving players an option to extend laps from one to five to ten or even twenty lap runs, along with higher points (consistently) for longer races. A collaboration of US gamers have all agreed to pause play until this system in which many have spent a lot of money on packages to grow their teams. One last note…. To many embedded computer generated race teams that are unrecognized and nearly impossible to beat. And then finally there is a report a competitor for aggressive driving, offensive name or offensive livery is perhaps the dumbest feedback you can ask for. When you contact customer support you get a naive response like the customer should accept the technical excuses with no “we are working on the issues in our next upgrade”. Well that’s been four upgrades in 2022 and we are now into halfway mark of 2023 and nothing. Reviews will continue to show customer dissatisfaction unless there is a favorable outcome of reengineering the code masters. One more thing in the new events mode you can run a record lap and end up with nearly zero points in fact you are subjected to a mid pack position and then in the three lap race you blow through the competition on the first lap win by 20 seconds and nearly budge in the points then you do a final three lapped and same result you win by 20 seconds or more and your points barely move to the top.
