Not disputing the stellar acting by the main leads and even all the side and supporting actors. I am a BIG fan of Vijay S, but this movie was too disturbing. We know horrible things happen in the world, but depicting child rape and violence and that too in such graphic and gut wrenching way is irresponsible and disgusting. The climax left me even more nauseated. The movie does reel you in, even beyond the first half, because of what is shown to the audience as the plot (the whole trash can narrative) with some really good humor thrown in, but the climax leaves your head reeling. So many loose ends too. It's like a dish you ordered at a restaurant that was overpriced, when it arrives at your table it looks just OK, when you dig in- you are surprised to discover new flavors in every bite, and you even leave the restaurant thinking it was good. But when you get home you are throwing it all up, and the whole experience- in retrospect- leaves a very bad taste in your mouth.
