Watching tonight’s episode 9 November 2020 on CNN. Disappointed that Ms Amanpour panders to American prejudice (polite word) in interview with the ‘Indian-American’ Representative woman. Yet Ms Harris-Emhoff the VP President-Elect, is described as ‘South-Asian-, Indian-, and second ‘Black-American’..... Both ladies have similar skin tone, yet Ms Amanpour parses it in seeming embarrassment. Is there something deeply disturbing as a long-time viewer of Ms Amanpour. I recall especially her interview with the Iranian President. It was a very long time ago. I was shocked to hear the reference to ‘American CIVILISATION’. Is there such a ‘thing’ that demands for that intellectual disambiguation?
