As a massive fan of the original, this was a great surprise - it captured the feel of the original in a way I worried it wouldn’t, struck the right notes and was a really enjoyable Friday night film. Did enough to avoid being smothered by nostalgia and told it’s own story, and made me realise how much I missed these characters and actors.
