This game is an awful excuse for a Pokémon game. After proving that the switch can run the Witcher 3 flawlessly, there is no excuse for this game to be so poorly optimized. My character fell through the map on several occasions, the frame rate drops so badly you can see the frames move when the mount jumps. I am appalled. After how great Sword and Shield looked, I am disappointed. You can see the pixels around the characters line art. They took so many great features away from this game compared to sword and shield. Nowhere near as much customizability with your characters. They still have not released a patch to optimize the game properly (I had 20 hours logged onto the game before I decided it was unbearable). Now they have DLC and it still runs badly. they need to start listening to what their players want. We want QUALITY even if it takes a little longer to release. This is not quality.

I’m 12 hours into the game. I would have given it 5 stars, but the navigation system with these space ships and the space flight is straight trash and I’m also disappointed with the amount of planets that are bare and the fact that every planet only really has a few places to visit. The rest of what I’ve played is great though. I’ll give it a solid 9/10. It also is incredibly Bethesda. The side quests and the main quests are immersive. The people interactions are much more in-depth than I expected them to be. I love the adoring fan so far. He reminds me of claptrap. Im probably going to play this game for years. Still play Oblivion, so of course I would!
