I am very biased. I love reading Agatha Christie novels. They transport me. Some people may find them outdated, but I find them to be a comfy blanket. I mean, if you're in the mood for "Girl With the Dragon Tattoo" then you obviously don't watch "Death on the Nile." They're different moods. I like Kenneth Branaugh in spite of the ridiculous mustache. The actresses were wonderful and I was able to ignore Armie Hammer, mostly. It was fun to see Russell Brand play against type. This movie is a feast for the eyes --especially if you've ever wanted to visit Egypt or enjoy '30s jazz. I, for one, would enjoy a murder mystery weekend as a 1930s socialite cruising down the cataracts with "enough champagne to fill the Nile." Like I said, I'm biased.
