The show starts off slow, and doesn't particularly pick up until episode 5 in my opinion. The jokes are played a bit more safe, and if you have a short attention span, you might miss a lot of them. On the other hand, I suspect that they will pick up a lot more once the next half of season 1 coming out sometime in 2019. The characters are very well developed, but the world can definitely be expanded! Hopefully when the next half of the season is released, they will correct these minor flaws, and Disenchantment will find its legs! Any Simpsons or Futurama fan should not miss this series, and any people who are unfamiliar with Groening's work, but like medieval, story driven shows like Game of Thrones should also check this out! WOULD RECOMMEND!
