Finished Season 4 last night. I finished high school in 1997, so this should not really have an effect on me. But it did. My daughter is now 4 and I pray she won't face half of what these kids went through. And what a lot of people don't always realise that altho this is fiction, this really happens.
I was confronted with the death of a classmate at age 13 due to a terminal illness which we did not understand. 5 months later my best friend at that time was killed in a car accident and her sister paralysed from the neck down. And so it goes on.
Justin's death ripped me to pieces. He is 18. He died. Because of a life he didn't choose, but had to live to survive.
I enjoyed 13 reasons from the beginning and although one would hope for more seasons, 4 was enough.
