This was a great documentary! I am surprised the parents were involved because it did not show them in the best light! The only one at fault was the mother who created a tangled web of lies and stripped both her huaband and child of their identities.We can pretend to be color blind but this is a privilige extended only to white people.Lacey experienced it, but because she THOUGHT she was white, she could not identify what she went through.She was LITERALLY the black sheep of her family.I am thankful that she maintained a connection with her real dad, because blood does NOT make you real family, it is who raised you.Rodney was a sperm donor, but due to him giving her black blood, he should be acknowledged in her life, but he was NOT her father.Kudos to her real dad for still loving her through one of the biggest betrayals.
