Unforgivably slow pacing. For example, why must we watch the titular character solve a puzzle for five minutes in the opening episode? It's more painful than watching someone else play a video game. Why do two characters, who obviously have some rift, stand and stare at each other for what feels like an eternity? We watch characters brew tea, solve puzzles, and walk around. I can only guess that future episodes will take us further into their daily routines, with cooking, paying bills, and flossing their teeth before bed. The showrunners are so obviously precious about their material that they believe merely putting it on screen is enough to elicit our gratitude.
I used to love Star Wars. Now, I'm simply bored by it. All these shows are bloated, formulaic, nostalgic in all the wrong ways, and they *look* exactly like the way they're filmed: on some stage in Georgia surrounded by high-res televisions projecting CGI-rendered backgrounds.
Life is too short!
