Is not often that you get to experience a movie that is so true to life, that you actually feel for the characters being portrayed. But, that is what 1917 has done. The horrors of war are laid out in front of you, with nothing held back. The intensity of the drama is incredible. The scene layout and cinematography are extremely well done. And, you find yourself experiencing a wide range of emotions, as the two young, british soldiers dutifully carry out their orders. This is definitely a well spent two hours.
