I was so looking forward to this series but it's so lame. The writers appeared to missed every episode of the original series, the continuity errors are astounding (I suspect retcon will be employed). The plot is fairly poor. The characters I don't care about. Okay, negan is still cool. They've taken everything that was good about the original and said let's mix it up a bit, give the public what they really want. Err. No. We don't want this. The opening scene with Maggie was pitiful. The baddie cutting the rope as his prisoner finds an escape route? Who doesn't bring thick rope cutters to every party? And how easy was it to cut the rope? Only saved by the final series of fear the walking dead and that ridiculous world beyond. And am I right in thinking negan's hair has reversed from greying to black? It's he on some amazing miracle drug? Terrible.
